Jamaican Food Event Calendar — July 2025

No one gets 104 days of summer vacation, but the annual problem for our generation is indeed finding things to do outside of work.

Like maybe going to food festivals, or cooking classes, or shopping for Christmas gifts in July.

As you can see there’s a whole lot of food to eat before summer ends, so stick with us because we make monthly lists of food events happening around Jamaica, and we’re gonna do it all.

(Mom! My little sister wrote a Phineas and Ferb inspired intro for the July Food Event Calendar!)

In the words of Phineas and Ferb, “Summer belongs to you!”

Whether you attend every food event on this list, or cook up food at home, we hope you have the most wongaful summer.

We’ve made it through half of 2025 and eventually we need to stop talking about WongaBingo, but today is not that day. Go try something new and fill out your WongaBingo card.

We’ll update this post as we find more events, so check back throughout the month for newly added events, or just to help boost our website page visits. You can also stay tuned to the @wongagyal Instagram story for event and blog updates.

WongaGyal

Tiana (aka WongaGyal) claims her spirit animal is baked macaroni & cheese. She’s not powered by coffee, but matcha or chai lattes will do - always on ice.
